ANNOUNCEMENT: Cardinal Classic XVIII (2/14/09) at Stanford
Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: Cardinal Classic XVIII (2/14/09) at Stanford
Since I'm coming down from SF by train, this time change throws a massive fucking wrench into my plans. I shall likely be late to the tournament, as the first caltrain arrives in Palo Alto at 9:02.

Well, if 10 is the original starting time and everyone was planning for 10, then I suppose I have nothing against that, I just am someone all for starting on time.

We'll push the time schedule back half an hour then; registration at 9, play by 9:30.

Last night I dreamt that this tournament was canceled and replaced by CBI Mid-Atlantic at UCSD, which Maryland won over Penn in a final of 104-17. Let us hope such a thing never happens.

Arnav, that's very gracious of you, although I hope and assume the time decision was made for the benefit of people more numerous and more important than myself.

Quick results: Chicago goes undefeated (12-0) to clinch the win. Magin and company finish second (10-2), while Sexton and Yaphe pull in third (9-3). Full results to follow soon; awards ceremony right now.

Is this set being mirrored somewhere else, or can we discuss it now?

No, all the mirrors are done. I was going to wait until I had the full stats up to open discussion, but I'll open a thread in the discussions forum.

So when can we look to have those stats up?

Well, it's comforting to see there are at least a couple teams of 4 that can beat Matt Weiner's bonus conversion, even if it is by less than 2 points. Solid performance by Chicago to beat at least four teams that would likely be top two at the other sites.Captain Scipio wrote:That link's no good. I believe you want this one.

This might be a minor thing for many people, but is there any way that you could change your color scheme? The white-on-dark blue is a painful combination.
