Scattergories 3 online: July 20 or 21, 2019

This is a preliminary announcement for a Discord mirror of Scattergories 3, on the weekend of July 20. Apologies for not offering a broader range of possible dates; that weekend and the next weekend are basically the only times I could run it, and there are more people I know of who'd want to play this but who will be at the NYC summer open on the 27th/28th than those who will be at Illinois side event weekend on the 20th/21st.

If the online mirror of RULFO ends up on the same weekend, then I'll run this on whichever day doesn't conflict with it. If not, I'll run it on the day that works better for people who are interested. Tentatively, we'll do teams of four, but depending on the amount of interest I may end up making it a shootout.

The cost of the tournament will be a $10 donation to a charitable organization of your choice.

Hi!

Myself and Eric Mukherjee will be running the Discord mirror of this tournament.

According to the spreadsheet, there seemed to be slight preference for the 21st, so we will be running it at 11am EST on the 21st.

There are currently 5 non-full teams, but 4 teams would be easier to run a round robin. Could the 5 teams consolidate into 4 on the spreadsheet?

If we get 4 teams, we will be running a double round robin + finals (7 packets, so this shouldn't take very long). We can then do a shootout on the remaining 3 packets if there is interest!

I'm willing to play as long as it projects to be done before midnight in Dublin (it should if it is only 7 packets). To be honest, I'm relatively rusty but also have been writing hard art stuff and like Will-brand film so I'll probably get a few good buzzes.

Also I see three free agents left - there appears to be 1 space left on Virginia and an unknown number of spaces left on BLMAGT Blurple (I don't know how many ...and the Boys there are). If you are still interested in playing, please add yourself to a team. We are ok with teams of 5 in any case since this is pretty casual.

This will very probably finish before midnight Dublin time (7pm EST) even if we end up playing the later packets too.
