Re: Sun God @ UIUC (11/10/18)
Congrats to MSU for beating Chicago A in both games of the advantaged final to win the tournament! Northwestern forfeited their play in game for that final so they take 3rd and OSU and UIUC A tied for 4th. Tomorrow we’ll start putting the stats into Neg5 and then use Bryan’s handy dandy parser to generate an SQBS file.
Thank you to everyone who came out and thank you to all the staff who made this event possible, especially Bryan for tournament directing and running a very tight ship. We hope to see you all in January for Regionals!

Why wouldn't you just enter the stats into SQBS directly?Illinois Admin wrote: ↑Sun Nov 11, 2018 12:42 amTomorrow we’ll start putting the stats into Neg5 and then use Bryan’s handy dandy parser to generate an SQBS file.

Becuase then I can commandeer a bunch of people to work on it all at once and not have to do merging 6 different SQBS files

Re: Sun God @ UIUC (11/10/18)
Doesn't it take more than 6 times longer to input a scoresheet into neg5 than into SQBS? (In fact, much more?) You have to go tossup by tossup (40 numbers) instead of just putting in 10 numbers from the bottom of the sheet.Illinois Admin wrote: ↑Sun Nov 11, 2018 2:20 am Becuase then I can commandeer a bunch of people to work on it all at once and not have to do merging 6 different SQBS files

You can use Neg5 and only input the game stats rather than tossup-by-tossup info.vinteuil wrote: ↑Sun Nov 11, 2018 10:38 amDoesn't it take more than 6 times longer to input a scoresheet into neg5 than into SQBS? Re: Sun God @ UIUC (11/10/18)
Neg5 has the option to enter sheets just like SQBS. In some formats it is even a bit faster because it auto-calculates PPB.vinteuil wrote: ↑Sun Nov 11, 2018 10:38 amDoesn't it take more than 6 times longer to input a scoresheet into neg5 than into SQBS? stats should be available here
If you have any issues with the stats don't bother me about them I just ripped them from scoresheets
