The Quizbowl Resource Center

Columbia will be hosting summer practices every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM somewhere in Hamilton Hall (either on floor 3 or 4, depending on what rooms are available). These practices will be open to anyone who happens to be in NYC during the summer, and the first practice will be this coming Thursday, June 14th.

If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]. While I can't personally attend, I hope that you'll find the time to join us for a fun and productive few hours of Quiz Bowl every week!

Since there are classes going on, typically what has been done is that we find an empty room and use it. I can post the room number when I get there (or whoever gets there first and finds a room).

EDIT: It will be in 301 NOT 401.

Like last Thursday, Hamilton 301 is empty and I guess we can have practice here.

Edit: we are again in 301 Hamilton and I think the current plan is to be here very Tuesday/Thursday unless something comes up.

Given that no one is here at 6:20, I'm heading out. Let me know if you want to practice on Thursday (the day after the 4th of July) because I'm not planning on coming otherwise. I assume people aren't here because of the holiday which is more than okay.

This may be a little late, but I was told that there are some people coming to Columbia practice today, so if you were thinking of showing up please do. It's hot and we can relax by playing some quizbowl!

Only Rafael and myself came to practice on Tuesday so we left early and idn't actually practice. Please show up on time (around 6 pm) if you want to play. I hope to see people there at the last practice before CO!

Also, next week is my last week in NYC. I'd like to go to a bar trivia in the area after practice on Tuesday. Let me know if you are interested.
