Post by Peter13 »

McMaster University is pleased to announce that we are hosting a mirror of Cal's Mid-Spring Tournament (CMST) on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018. The tournament will likely be held in the McMaster University Student Centre (MUSC). We are planning to start at 9:00AM so try to arrive for 8:30AM so we can start in a timely fashion.

CMST is a set written by members of the University of California, Berkeley's quizbowl team; more details about the set can be found here.

Cost
Update: To encourage more people to sign up, McMaster Quizbowl has decided to lower the price to $125 per team (Minimum Fee: $70/team)

Discounts
-$5 per set of working buzzer set
-$15 per moderator
-$15 per 321.87 km (or 200 miles) traveled one way from your school to McMaster University

Congratulations to Toronto B for winning CMST by clearing the field 9-0! Despite all the little things that put a little bit of a wrench in our plans, things eventually got done within a reasonable hour. Stats can be found here.
