Hi,
Is this tournament just for high schoolers or can college teams also participate?

Ben said that Northeastern and RPI are also coming, so I'll bug him to update the post. UConn can also field some teams.Steeve Ho You Fat wrote:Does this have sufficient field to happen?

Updating field here because I have fewer than seven posts and apparently that will make the whole thing disappear. Current field is

Olin "Beyoncé"
Joe, Nolan, Ian "Some Creative Team Name"
Manas Sarma
RPi
Northeastern

What's the best place to park for Saturday?

From my experience, it's going to be the lot off of Horsebarn Hill Road, https://goo.gl/maps/mt1dPjTihAn. Parking in "Area 2" lots is free on weekends.
To get there, take I-84 to exit 68, then go south on 195 for around 8 miles. When you get to the campus, you'll pass the Dairy Bar on your left, and then a church on your right. Continue straight after that 3-way intersection with the Storrs Congregational Church (there's currently some construction/road work at that intersection) and make the next left onto Horsebarn Hill Road, then making an immediate right into the parking lot. Park in any space that isn't specifically marked for emergency/maintenance vehicles.

This was a hoot. Thanks to UConn and everyone. Also, I think everyone interested in outreach (and everyone else) should make note of Olin's success at creating a quiz bowl team out of nothing, and attending at least three (probably four) tournaments in their first year. They're a solidly talented team as well.
