The Quizbowl Resource Center

Michigan Academic Competitions is pleased to host a Great Lakes area mirror of Penn Bowl to be held on October 29th, 2016. Specific details about the distribution and difficulty can be found here. For now, we will be capping the field at 12 teams, which we may expand if we have enough staffers.

Fees and Discounts
Base fee: $120 per team
Working buzzer discount: $5 each
Approved moderator discount: $15 each
Travel discount: $10 (more than 200 miles one way according to Google maps)

It's great to see another mirror in the Ohio/Michigan area. Unfortunately I'm taking the GRE on 10/29, so I doubt we'll be able to make it, but I'm looking forward to more tournaments happening in the future!

You should have gotten a message from somebody already, but just in case you haven't, Louisville is planning to have one team at this.

We're going to go ahead and close the field! I'll send out a logistics email to the registered teams sometime this week.
