NAQT South SCT in Houston - February 8, 2014

I am pleased to announce that the SCT for NAQT's South Region will be held in Houston, Texas on February 8, 2014 on the campus of Rice University. It will be run by myself and Chris Romero.

More details will follow shortly including location, fees, etc. Registration will take place via NAQT's online registration system, but it is not available yet. Teams are welcome to post here to express interest. Registration for the tournament will begin at 8:30am on 2/8.

When this tournament opens for registration, the fees and discounts will be the standard fees/discounts for a sectional. Please note that these are subject to change, but the base fee will not be higher than posted and the discounts will not be lower than posted. Odds are that discounts will be increased to help teams with costs.

Congratulations to Texas A&M A who won the first game of an advantaged final over the University of Texas. Rice finished third, handing Texas A&M A their only loss of the day.
