Waterloo will send at least (and most likely exactly) one team to this.

McGill is sending one team to this, probably no more. If we don't, I can staff.

Just as an obvious heads-up, as the tournament is approaching and you are planning to play, this would be a good time to let us know directly. "I am thinking it to you as hard as I can" is not a workable alternative option.

By my count, we have the following teams CONFIRMED (if you" might be coming" or any such nonsense, CONFIRM it):
The Racist team names (McGill U. Redmen)
The Awkward Solo Guys (Algonquin College)
The Ha, Rollos (uOttawa House Team)
The Vikings meet the Romans (McMaster University)
The Inappropriate Slurs (uWaterloo)
The Trivia Night Question Fiascos (Carleton, maybe x2?)
The I said Jake Sundberg was "gone" and now he won't let that gos (Alberta)
and like, maybe others.

I am told that another team is:
The Golden Care Bears (Alberta B).

Logistics:

This tournament will be happening Sunday in the Lamoureux (LMX) Building, the same building that we held our Minnesota Open mirror in. A campus map is available here: http://www.uottawa.ca/maps/

We will be meeting in the morning in Lamoureux 221 - please arrive by 9:00 AM (#9amsharp) so we can start up on time, particularly since some teams have a long drive home to Southern Ontario after the tournament.

Looking forward to seeing many of you Saturday at Carleton, and everyone on Sunday!

This happened. Alberta A went 8-0 in the round robin and then defeated Ottawa (7-1) in the first game of an advantaged final. Jordan Palmer was top scorer, followed closely by Trevor Davis, Sinan Ulusoy and Brendan McKendy. The stats are available here: http://www.hsquizbowl.org/db/tournaments/1650

Please PM me with any stat corrections that may be necessary.

Thanks to everyone who came up to Ottawa for the tournament today and this weekend more broadly!

A big Thank You to the tireless tournament director Shelby Robert and all of our readers and scorekeepers (such as Ben Smith, Peter Jiang, Russell Neesom, Jon, Colleen, Oscar, James, Cynthia, Nicole, Chris, and anybody I missed!). Thanks for making the tournament a smooth-run and enjoyable affair.

A second big Thank You to everyone who came out and played (Special Thank yous to our out-of-city teams Alberta, Waterloo, McMaster and McGill). It was great to play with you, and hopefully you enjoyed it and we'll see you again soon.

A special mention to Cam of uWaterloo-I did not know it was possible to have 29 negs in 8 games. You've raised the bar for all of us.
