Date has been changed to October 30 to avoid conflicting with the SATs.

Sounds great. I especially like the random placement of ten lightning buzzes, because hey, you can never prime the buzzer too much.

How many teams are you expecting?

There's a 10-question round of purely lightning questions at the beginning, followed by the other questions. 48 teams are expected, no idea on current numbers though.

As far as I know, ER is coming and we're bringing two teams. Should be interesting...Blake last year was the first tournament I played at.

There are spots left, and registration is still open. I'll try to get a list of teams coming, but I don't have a list at the moment from my coach.

WJ attendence

Post by bigtrain »

WJ will be coming with 3 teams.
According to our coach, this is the first C team we have ever brought to a tournament. This may not seem like alot or important to many of you, but "don't rain on my parade."

Wow. Three teams. I wish we had a C team. For that matter I wish we had a complete B team. Well, I guess we'll see you there (though I don't know if ER B is coming).

Congrats to TJ, and to the Blake folks for getting us outta there at 2:30. Wow.

I feel compelled to post about a reader error in one of our prelim games:

Reader: This apostle to the genitals. . .
Player: What??
Reader: Oh. . . God!

In the semis, Thomas Jefferson A defeated Walter Johnson A with a score of 260-210. Richard Montgomery A defeated Gonzaga 220-200. In the finals, Thomas Jefferson A defeated Richard Montgomery A with a score of 270-190.
Blake did a great job hosting this tournament, and it was great that we were able to finish before 3:00.
