This tournament is intended to be the premier event on the Ohio quizbowl calendar. Every team will have the opportunity to win the eternal glory that comes with a state championship. The runners-up and winners will take home the shiniest of trophies and the individual high scorers will be awarded prizes (awesome paperbacks).

After prelims and rebracketing, Northmont and South Range A are about to play a play-in game to face Olmstead Hills A in the finals.

More like Olmsted Falls. And for those interested, Northmont made it to the final and won two straight games to take the state title.

I intend to write up a timeshifted humorous "liveblog" I kept and post it in AHAN Jr. as soon as I've got time, so probably tomorrow.

Little by little, I work my way through the Ohio quizbowl lexicon. (I learned how to pronounce Copley today!) But yeah, this was a good tournament with a lot of great teams. I hope Northmont enjoys their trophy.
