Middle School Tournaments Near Kentucky

Post by brockja »

Hi. I've noticed the other posts in this forum, but I am disappointed to see the lack of middle school tournaments posted. My team competed in the Dunbar Middle School tournament earlier this year and did well. We'd like to attend other tournaments. I know of all the Kentucky quick recall tournaments coming up this year, but I don't know about any near Kentucky. If anyone has any info, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, if there are teams looking for tournaments in Kentucky, check out http://www.kaac.com for more info.

Thanks again,

A group of us who use this forum are in the process of producing a middle school set which we'd like to see used as widely as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

I think you'll rarely find very many high quality middle school tournaments in the state. Even our middle school tournament was no where close to acceptable quality by today's standards. Although if Donald's tournament gets mirrored somewhere close, it would be a good tournament to attend. For now, I would recommend at least taking your players to one high school tournament per year. I know Danville Bate's coach does this and it's always very nice to see a dedicated middle school coach do this for his or her players. Danville Bate even placed 10th at our high school tournament.
