Robinson Invitational V (Concord, NC) - POSTPONED TO 3/27/10

Robinson HS (Concord, NC - near Charlotte) will host the fifth annual Robinson Invitational on Saturday, January 30. We will mirror Thomas Jefferson's NAREN tournament.

John, sorry I didn't get a field update posted last week. We just changed semesters here and I haven't had much time to attend to quiz bowl matters.

Now, it's looking more and more like we're going to have to postpone the tournament thanks to that b---- Mother Nature. If that happens, our makeup date is going to be March 27, and registration will be open all over again - I'll have to talk to TJ about how this would affect our mirror with them. I'm going to make a decision about this weekend on Friday around 10am.

Due to some really nasty weather on the way, the Robinson Invitational is currently postponed. Our new date is March 27. The new registration form for that date can be found here:

14 teams. I think we'll do two pools of seven, get everyone six games (or seven, if we do a cross-pool matchup), and take the top two from each pool for a round-robin playoff.
