I'm not sure if you heard from anyone, but Raleigh Charter's Right Triangle Open is that day. Most NC teams will be there, I imagine.

Here's a schedule update:

We will begin registration at 8:00 in Leonard Auditorium (inside Main Building). We will begin play at 8:45. Right now, we will play a full round robin within two divisions, then take the top teams from each for a playoff tournament. A significant change to the number of registrants may change that. I hope to see many of you here in Spartanburg next month!

In order to accommodate some of our volunteers, registration will begin at 8:15 instead of 8:00, with play beginning at 9:00. I apologize for any confusion!

They went to Harvard Fall earlier this year. I envy their ability to travel.

Yeah. but HFT is a much bigger tournament than Wofford.

Southside would like to register two teams for this. I'll send a formal email once I get home from school.

Uh, is there a reason why Dorman A and Southside A were put into the same bracket? I know it's really "Dorman B" but this Dorman B team is still, like, possibly in the top 25 in the country.

This "Dorman B" team appears to clearly belong in the top 25 in the country. They beat Southside's regular A team and averaged 508 PPG. Wow!

I feel sorry for the unfortunate schools that had to play both this Dorman team and Southside A in the preliminary rounds. Glad it wasn't my team...

Southside didn't quite have its regular A team. One of our seniors couldn't make it, and was replaced by a junior.

Southside played Dorman in a single-game final to determine the championship.

EDIT: Would it be rude of me to state the outcome before the TD has had a chance to do so?

Not really - it's common practice. It might be too early to start clamoring for stats, but that's different.

Southside A defeated Dorman "A" 500-210. The semifinalists, if I'm not mistaken, were Freedom A and Southside "B."
