Brett Favre goes Broadway

Post by First Chairman »

Just in case someone cares...

Will they actually play him in Cleveland tonight?

Now maybe they can talk about baseball on sports channels rather than the constant Brett Favre coverage they've had for the past week...

Okay... just went through the press conference (NFL network coverage)... over 3000 Favre jerseys sold. Sheesh.

All I can say is that we'll be fully sick and tired of this by the end of.. September.

But as he appears at the balcony to bless the assembled multitude of Clevelanders, the Yankees radio announcer will broadcast to the crowd "This is the greatest moment in the history of the world since The Dark Knight opened!"

Starting this morning, I now randomly change the channel whenever someone says "Brett Favre." This made watching the Bears game difficult.

The Bears game was pretty difficult to watch anyways. Other than Kreutz, I didn't notice any offensive starters who should be starting in the NFL.

I actually think that the Favre story will start getting interesting now that it has something to do with football. So far, not so much.

Heyyyyy, let's be positive... our defensive is awesome! Sort of.

But the madden curse! Farve will be out at least 1 game this year, probably more due to injury! He should have stayed retired, and if anything come back the next year!

They both make Dan LeBatard seem slightly less annoying (is he still around? I don't have time to watch as much ESPN as I used to....).

I don't have as big a problem with Mariotti. I like Reali and most of the panelists they have on the show. Since Tony and Wilbon are there together like 0.0034689% of the time now, I actually prefer Around the Horn to PTI.
