I've committed to UCSD and will want to contact either qbers going there or people remaining from when the program was alive.

I'm going to Mizzou and probably dropping out partway through or something.

Likely Princeton, although I was waitlisted at Harvard/Yale, so we'll see if that turns into anything.

And contact me - Greg Peterson, petersogATlawrenceDAHTedu - if you do. UW Madison would halve the distance from Lawrence to the nearest other QB school.

Knox! I know somebody at Knox. Not a quiz bowl person, mind you, just this guy. This is on topic, right? Quizbowlers of the world...start going to tiny liberal arts colleges more.

Georgia Tech, along with (almost certainly) the other two seniors on our team. Not sure yet if we'll be playing in college, though.

Knox allegedly used to have a team of some kind (at least per my girlfriend (MY GIRLFRIEND) who goes there.) Anyway, you should get their team going again. You're right in the middle of a hotbed of quizbowl activity and have a very supportive administration (at least in my experience.)

How long ago was that? Would you happen to know if anyone who was part of that still is? I started talking to people over the summer about it, but they dropped off the radar. I'll try to rope in some first-years, and anyone else I can get in contact with...I really miss playing.

San Diego State, but they don't have a team. I'm hoping to transfer out in my second year to somewhere like UCLA or Berekeley. I just got screwed over by my financial aid.

Pretty sure that was last year. You should try getting together with Carlo next year. Last I heard he was trying to get a team together.

Carlo and Nick and Luke already have a team together, Bryce - with a pretty solid fourth, too. And trust me, John is aware of such.

Congrats to your seniors, Bill! Those are some impressive destinations.

No seniors on CR's team. Both bad and mostly good news.

Normandale CC in Minnesota, though I'll probably play with the Minnesota team if I do QB next year. It's not worth starting a team when I'm likely to transfer within the year (maybe after one semester).

I don't blame you for not starting a team if you're going to transfer so soon, but if you don't mind, and if UMinn. is actually reasonably close to the (a?) Normandale campus, could you maybe see if you could get some classmates interested in tagging along? Or maybe even a staff person from student activities? Maybe you could get them acquainted and they could start their own team.

PS--anybody else besides Dan and theattachment heading to a CC?

PPS--Valencia is in Orlando, an awesome place to live!!!
