Edit: Due to the multiple spring break conflicts, we have moved the tournament up a week.

At last, a QuizBowl tournament in South Florida!

The tournament will be held on the 22rd and 23rd of March.

There will be a guaranteed 7 or 8 rounds per team, depending on how many teams show up: 7 qualifying matches and up to a 16 team elimination.

The tournament will be run on house written, NAQT style questions with power markings.

Registration: 100 $
Discounts: 10 for a working buzzer (first half of field to request)
10 dollars for each 100 miles
10 dollars for each extra team
Minimum 50 dollars per team

Lodging: There is a brand new holiday inn express just minutes form the school, and seconds from I-95.

Anyone who is planning on attending send me a quick note please. The responses have been unfortunately lukewarm so far.

Also, if there is anything keeping you from attending such as cost please let us know. We would like all teams who wish to participate be able to.

uh I just talked to the UF tournament director and they were apparently forced into moving their tournament from the 1st to the 22nd.

Ugh.
