The 2008 Cedar Shoals Jaguar Bowl (Mar 29, 2008)

Seeing as some people are asking about the dates and setting up their schedules...

The Cedar Shoals Academic Team announces the 2008 edition of the Jaguar Bowl, to be held March 29, 2008, in Athens, Georgia. This tournament will use NAQT A series questions. We're setting the field at our usual 30 teams until readers can be cemented.

At this point, the following have confirmed
Dominion Christian (GA)
Chattahoochee (2-3)
Central Gwinnett
Parkview

The following have expressed interest:

St. Anthony's (NY) (3 teams)
Robinson (NC)

As you can see, we're a long way off and ways away from being filled, so if you're interested, feel free to email us.

While this is being billed as a Varisty event (grades 9-12), this may be good practice for the GATA JV events that will be held in April.

Field update as of March 24th. Dominion Chr pulled out and I forgot to add Chattachoochee's 2 teams. If we can hit 16, that would be great (ALL teams make the playoffs!)
