From El Reno, February 2:
Class B: 1) Drummond; 2) Kremlin-Hillsdale; 3) Yarbrough; 4) Cheyenne
The bus hit a speed-bump this year and Kremlin won the first championship game, forcing an extra game. However, Drummond rallied and won its 10th consecutive state title and 14th overall.
Class A: 1) Pioneer-Pleasant Vale; 2) Haileyville; 3) Mooreland; 4) Fort Cobb-Broxton
Pioneer collected its first state title.
Class 2A: 1) Warner; 2) Oktaha; 3) Tulsa School of the Arts and Sciences; 4) Wynnewood
Warner also won its first state title at the expense of conference-mate Oktaha. Wynnewood started an all-sophomore lineup and may have room to grow.
Class 3A: 1) Holland Hall; 2) Purcell; 3) Inola; 4) Hilldale
No one was too surprised to see HH win its 6th straight title, but they were hardly dominant and Purcell gave them two much tougher tests than anticipated.
Class 4A: 1) Claremore; 2) Bishop Kelley; 3) Thomas Edison; 4) Lawton MacArthur
Claremore goes back-to-back.
Class 5A: 1) Booker T. Washington; 2) Jenks; 3) Edmond Memorial; 4) Edmond Santa Fe
Booker T. wins its umpty-billionth title (although we won in 1991, darnit; the OSSAA program is *still* wrong) in a rematch of last year's title.
RESULTS: OSSAA State Championship Tournament
