Field?

Post by pblessman »

Culver Academies is attending these tournaments with two teams... Anybody else going? Bob- maybe you could post a field update?

P.S.: Geez... since when do we have Hermann the German as an emoticon? I just got really happy... :arminius:

He sent out a field update... dunno if you got it or not...

Looks like the good part of the field will be State College, Tippecanoe, Culver and us...

Some other teams could surprise, but it should be two good days of competition.

Don't forget Russell. They might be the best team in the whole field.

Plus, I figure Copley will be pretty stout.

What is the weather like in Cleveland. I noticed Solon was out today. Is it supposed to snow more before and/or on Saturday and Sunday?

We got buried in the last 24 hours, but I think its supposed to be steady the next few days without much more snow.

Brief Results:

1. State College A
2. State College B
3. Tippecanoe A
4. Garfield Heights A

State College B, Tipp and GH all tied at 3-2 in the championship round-robin, thus effectively tying for 2nd.

I was quite proud of the fact that my team only lost to State College A by 10 points, and the last bonus was ours... if we only knew anything about the subject (which I won't post about until the set clears)

It was a good tournament, looking forward to PACE tomorrow.

Good to hear.

Field any comments on the PACE set to me and Matt Weiner. These were questions from last year's competition, and are not technically released to the public. I'm holding them for all teams that register for this year's event so there can be a set of questions they can practice on.
