ACE Camps in 2007

Looks like ACE will have two major changes for 2007.

1. We are not returning to Maryville College in Tennessee. (Major construction project beginning there makes that venue impossible for ACE.) Looks like the SE camp will be at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. Details for that camp are 95% done. July 23-27 are the tenative dates.

2. ACE will open a third camp in 2007 PROBABLY in Maryland. Details on this are not finalized. I am travelling to Mount St Mary's College in Emmitsburg, MD this week to scope out the place. Dates there would be July 30-Aug 3. This deal is just 50-50. I will know much more by the weekend.

Note: we are returning to SEMO for the 7th straight year in Missouri.

Emitsburg is about an hour away from both Baltimore and Washington (and maybe 4 hours from State College?) making it very concenvenient for most of the mid-Atlantic players.

SEMO dates are not finalized. Should be July 8-12 but might be 2-3 days later.

ACE 2007 dates are now final. We will have three camps next year.

July 8-12 at SEMO in Cape Girardeau, MO

July 23-27 at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC

July 30-Aug 3 at Mount St Mary's University in Emmittsburg, MD

Mr. Barry, I'm Siva Sundaram from Rockford Auburn. I was at SEMO this summer, and I won second place in the Science competition. I don't know how it happened, but I think I left my trophy by my chair in the audience in the awards ceremony room. Did anyone recover it?
