Just letting people know that there's still room at BHSAT on March 3. The field is shaping up pretty well...you should come if you can. Lots of good teams, lots of good questions.

Contact Brett Lazer for more info.

We hope to see you in New Haven!

Hi all,

thanks for being patient while we got the last registrations in.

BHSAT XVI will be held at Yale March 3rd, 2007, in William L. Harkness Hall. This is where we have had BHSAT in past years. It is located at 100 Wall St.

Here is the link to the Yahoo map:

Registration will begin at 8:30 AM (we will post signs which room) with the first round beginning at 9:30 AM. Lunch will be after the opening round robin (we will provide a sheet with the names and descriptions of some local restaurants on the day of the tournament), and then there will be playoffs and an awards presentation. Although it is difficult to know when the tournament will end, it is safe to assume sometime in the early evening around 5 or 6.

So far the field looks like:

Champlain Valley Union High School 2
Norwich Free Academy 2
Daniel Hand HS 1
Paul M Dorman HS 1
Ranney School 3
Burlington HS 2
St. Peter's Prep 2
Sacred Heart 2
Suffield High School 2
Northern Highlands Regional High 2
Seton Hall Prep 2
William Tennent HS 3
Simsbury 2
Stuyvesant 4
Archbishop Spalding 2
Suffield Academy 1
Cheshire 1
Terryville 2
Kellenberg 3
Gonzaga 1
HHHW 4

If there is anything incorrect on that list, please email me (brett dot lazer @ yale dot edu)

Brief Results:
1- Gonzaga
2- Stuyvesant A
Semi-finalists: Dorman and Kellenberg A.

The score of our final game against Stuy was 380 to 165. However, I was most proud of my team's performance against Dorman's full A team in the semis when we won by a score of 365 to 160. Overall thanks to Yale for a good tournament with very high quality questions.
