The Quizbowl Resource Center

Gatlinburg-Pittman High School will be hosting the 2nd annual Highlander Classic in Gatlinburg, TN. The date of the event is February 9, 2019. We will be using the NAQT Invitational Series #181 question set. Here are the details:

Place: Gatlinburg-Pittman High School, 150 Proffitt Road. Gatlinburg, TN 37738

Time: Teams need to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 for check-in. We will try to start the games at 9:00.

Gameplay: We will be using standard NAQT Rules with neg 5s and no bounce-backs. The game will be split into two 10 minute halves. The schedule will be dependent on the number of registered teams.

Fee Structure:
The base fee is $80 for the first team.
$5 discount per buzzer system
$10 discount for the first reader, $5 dollar discount for each additional volunteer.
Schools wanting to bring additional teams will receive a $10 discount per extra team ($80 for team A, $70 for team B, etc.)
$10 discount for traveling 150 miles or more per Google maps.
