Hello all. This thread will be a compilation of all tournaments happening in New York for the 2018-19 academic year. Reply to this post if you are hosting a tournament. In your comment, include the tournament name, date, location, and what set you will be using.

This post will also include all tournaments from the NJ thread. It is not necessary to re-post those listings here. This list will be updated as more tournaments are posted.

Bard plans to host Bardbowl II in February and BEST II in May next year. I will have tentative dates after consulting with my successor.

I'd like to tentatively schedule BrainBusters Fall VII for November 10th at Ithaca High School in Ithaca, NY. I'd prefer to use an NAQT set for this tournament, but pending the resolution of the current controversy, we'll see.

Kellenberg Mem HS (Uniondale, NY) will hold LIFT XVIII on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018. Further info will be posted later.

Please put down Livingston for its usual weekend, Saturday, March 16, 2019 on and IS set. Thanks.

Hunter is hosting Prison Bowl 3/23 and SCOP Novice 10/27. Thanks!

Columbia University will officially be hosting two tournaments this year as part of its Columbia Cup series at Columbia's Morningside Heights campus in New York, NY. Columbia Fall Tournament will take place on October 6 and Columbia Spring Tournament will take place on February 23. Columbia Fall will use WHAQ III and Columbia Spring's packet is TBD. Will update with additional information as I can.

Edit: Columbia Fall has been rescheduled for October 13. The tournament listing and forum post have been updated to reflect this.

Edit 2: Due to changes in the collegiate quiz bowl schedule, this tournament will once again be held on October 6.

Bardbowl II, at Bard High School Early College Manhattan, is tentatively scheduled for January 5, 2019, on an IS set.

February 9, 2019 is the Geneva Invitational (IS-181) at Geneva HS, Geneva, NY.

Would you mind adding BHSAT XXVIII @ Yale for February 16? More information is available here.
