Michigan NAQT State Championship, April 1st at U of M

Post by Kilroy Was Here »

Hello all

Michigan Academic Competitions will be holding this year's NAQT state tournament on Saturday, April 1st, 2017 at the University of Michigan. This tournament will start promptly at 9am and end by around 5:30pm. We will use questions from [IS-166]. There are no qualifying requirements for this tournament. We have an initial field cap of 32, but that may be expanded due to the number of staffers available. Additionally, we are setting an initial limit of 2 teams per school.

Note that the IS-166 set will have overlaps with SCT, so teams playing SCT can not play this tournament.

TOURNAMENT RULES & FORMAT
The format of this tournament is yet to be determined and will depend on the field size. This tournament will not be timed and each round will consist of 20 tossup questions.

REGISTRATION:
Registration can be done by filling out the form below. No other form of registration will be accepted.

"Aragorn was the famed king of Gondor, while the Iberian kingdom was Aragon. Both parties were aware of this coincidence: we have a journal entry from Aragorn that expresses his anger at receiving mail meant for King Peter IV of Aragon for the umpteenth time."~ CommodoreCoCo
