UGA Habitat for Humanity is looking for a few more teams to fill out its field for the upcoming April 2nd tournament, to be held at the Univesity of Georgia campus. This is a fundraiser for a great cause. Send an e-mail to [email protected] if interested.

Who all is coming? Given that this is during some schools' spring breaks/ proms/ etc. there may not be that many. We're coming, as it is only 2 miles from us- though it will be our JV members (Prom is that night).

BTW- some schools are confusing this with the NAQT State tournament on April 30. Just to let you know, these are not the same tournaments. Different day, different packets (IS 51) and different (read:national) implications.

Indian Springs (AL) won the tournament, which was an 8-team round robin (20 TU/bonus untimed, using IS-45a). Etowah A (GA) took second, and seems to have improved a ton from what I remember. In a game in my room, they scored 530 points, and between the 2 teams, no TUs went dead. I think they're also mostly juniors so...take from that what you will.
