Mirror of SCOP Novice will be hosted in Ottawa at Lisgar Collegiate Institute (29 Lisgar St) on October 25th, 2014

As this is a novice tournament targeted towards new, inexperienced players, there are entrance restrictions.
- Any grade 9 or 10 is allowed to play
- Any grade 11 or 12 entering their first or second year of quizbowl is allowed to play
- Any grade 11 or 12 entering their third or later year of quizbowl must submit an email including their name, grade, and list of quizbowl tournaments attended. The TDs will review each case and determine whether or not the player will be allowed to play. Generally, these people will not be accepted if they scored 20 PPG or higher at an IS-A level or higher difficulty tournament.

Fees:
$20 per team-$5 per player missing ($20 for team of 4, $15 for team of 3... etc)


To register, please send an email specifying your school, the number of registering teams, and the number of players on each team (If you don't know player numbers for certain, that's fine we can work out fees day of).

Total: 13 Teams Confirmed, potentially as many as 15

The final standings in the top bracket was: Bell (8-0), Merivale A & B (both 6-2), and Glebe (5-3). I'm uncertain about the rest, but bracket 2 was Earl, the new LDHSS team, and 2 Colonel Bys; third bracket was Lisgar and Colonel Bys, then 2 other LDHSS teams.
