Harrison Bergeron Memorial Open at UT-Austin

Post by Mr. Kwalter »

Hello All,

I'd like to hereby announce the Harrison Bergeron Memorial Open, which will be held on 4/23 here in sunny Austin, TX. It will be part of a packet swap with J'ACCUSE/BLaST/Terrier Tussle. The question difficulty is aimed at or below the level of the college ACF Fall tournament.

The tournament will be open to all players regardless of affiliation. High Schools from the Texas/Oklahoma/Arkansas/Louisiana area are encouraged to come, as the tournament difficulty will most likely be on par with PACE nationals and the NAQT HSNCT. If there is sufficient interest then we will do separate high school and open brackets, but if not we will at least guarantee acknowledgement of both the top high school and top open team. High School teams are not asked to submit a packet.

The fee structure is as follows:

Base Fee: $100
Subsequent Teams: $85
Buzzer Discount: $10 per working, used buzzer
Moderator Discount: $20 per competent, used moderator

If you have any questions free to contact me at ekwartler at gmail dot com. Hope to see you all in Austin on the 23rd.
