Hi everyone,
For this past NSC, I'm working on making conversion statistics for the questions public.
The important things to keep in mind are:
1) For tossups, the PACE format does not have negs. There's only powers, correct answers and dead TUs.
2) For bonuses, I've combined points earned and points stolen on bonuses for tracking conversion. I suppose I could have tracked only points earned, but I think that would have thrown away some data. So, a bonus recorded as a 30 could be that the first team swept the bonus, or they scored 20 and had 10 stolen, or scored 10 and had 20 stolen, etc.
3) This information absolutely should not be applied to regular high school tournament sets. This is information from a high school national championship with a very talented field; the idea that saying "Quo Vadis was converted in 3/4 of the rooms, time to introduce it to A-sets!" should not cross your mind.
4) I unfortunately do not have information on which parts of bonuses were converted.
I just got the scoresheets on Friday and I just had a chance to sit down with the first round. I'm going to slowly work my way through these and post the tabulations in this thread.

Re: 2014 PACE NSC Conversion Stats
Hey, thanks for doing this. I've always been a big fan of NAQT's public releasing of conversion stats, and I think this is a really good step for PACE to do too.

Re: 2014 PACE NSC Conversion Stats
I dunno, but that Michelozzo/Brancacci/St. Peter's bonus should have at least one zero.
