The Virginia Tech Spring Invitational is being held on our campus in Blacksburg, VA on April 12, 2013 and will be a mirror of Hunter College High School's Prison Bowl VII.

Location
Teams will report to McBryde 100. This is the large auditorium on the south side of the building.
Parking restrictions are not enforced on the weekends unless posted, and ample parking is available both around the Drillfield, along the Alumni Mall, and in the lots and parking deck near Prices Fork Road.

Registration
Registration will begin at 8:00 AM and we expect the opening meeting to begin promptly at 8:45 AM with gameplay beginning at 9:00 AM.

Fees and Discounts
Base fee: $70
Working buzzer set: -$5
Competent Moderator: -$10
Scorekeeper: -$5
Travel (in excess of 200 miles one-way as determined by the TD): -$5/200 miles

To register, please contact Matt Fleischer via email at ([email protected]) with the coach's contact information, including a phone number where the coach can be reached on the day of the tournament, the number of teams, and any expected discounts.

Eligibility
Teams are limited to six players, four of which may play at any one time. If a school wishes to bring more than six players, they must register an additional team.

The exact tournament schedule will be determined by field size closer to the tournament date, however we will guarantee a minimum of 8 rounds.

I hope the set was enjoyable to play! Please remember that Prison Bowl isn't clear for public discussion until May 19, the Monday before PACE NSC.

If players have feedback on the set, I encourage them to email us privately at [email protected] or join our private discussion subforum by going to User Control Panel on the top left > User groups > Prison Bowl VII discussion group.

Congratulations to George Washington and Blacksburg A for finishing first and second, respectively! Ryan Humphrey from George Washington led all individuals in scoring with 107.5 PPG. Thanks to everyone who came out and played or staffed this tournament; I hope it was still enjoyable for everyone despite the small field size.
