NAQT state championship questions are indeed provided to hosts free of charge.

I'm not sure if Stony Brook is willing to drive out to Irvington, but they'd probably be willing to offer some help in terms of staff. Robert Pond is really approachable. Alec (or anybody else that ends up hosting it), you should ask him to see if Stony Brook can provide some manpower.

If you host on May 11th (the last allowable date), I could staff, and there would likely be other college students home as well.

We would prefer an April date so that newly-qualified teams have a reasonable amount of time to plan travel to HSNCT.

I did talk about hosting/staffing states with my team before, and they were fairly enthusiastic about it. I'm sure we could provide at least some help if it does materialize (although I really wish we could host it ourselves).

NY States cannot be hosted by Irvington. Apologies to anyone who wanted to do this.

Teams potentially interested in hosting a New York state championship the weekend of April 20th/21st should contact me as soon as possible.
