Howard's Siesta Bowl tentative date 1/29/05

Howard High School in Ellicott City, MD is pleased to announce that they have selected 1/29/05 as the date of their Siesta Bowl tournament.

Although we would have found it preferable to write our own questions and use our own format, we feel we would be unable to do a quality job and have thus decided to use NAQT questions. Tournament details such as price have yet to be determined.

For those watching NAQT gamesets, I received word today that IS-48 was reserved for the Siesta Bowl.

disappointed to hear about the questions. you all did a great job with the itsac format last year, and i hope your group gets some pep in their pens and write questions. i think there are too many naqt tournaments, which i think are not as fun for b teams and other inexperienced groups.

i'm sure you'll still run a good tournament, regardless.

and on another note, when you said "pep in their pens," I hope that you were not implying that they were lazy, because Howard said that he only determined to use NAQT questions because he wanted the questions to be a quality job. I only see a hint of regret, not a bunch of laziness....
