It's Academic

Post by Marcel Duchamp »

First round of tapings were today. Ours was the first of the day and it took about 2 hours due to difficulties with the sound system. Not fun, and we didn't stay for the rest so we only know our score. If anyone has other results, please post them.

Osbourn- 365
West Springfield- 370
Walter Johnson- 705

Airing October 2

It was cool that Pat Buchanan walked into the TV studio at the same time as our team; although he was not there to watch the game.

Yea, waiting in the 'stands' wasn't very fun at all, but i can't imagine how annoying it must be to be on the stage just waiting for it to continue. Anyways, good job Zach!

How many team round points are available to each team?
I thought it was almost 300 plus the 100 points each team starts with.

I think there are 14 20-pt team questions, with a possible 25 point bonus.
305 team points are possible, I think, plus the starting 100.

Taped December 11, Baltimore show 17 to air 1/15/05, Calvert Hall defeats Glenelg and Long Reach. I didn't write the scores down, but I believe all scores were in the 400s and the margin of victory was about 50 points.
