Morning rounds will be 6 groups of 5 and then the afternoon will be 5 groups of 6 with the top two in each pool being drawn into two groups and subsequent playoffs. We will be two 10 question halves. RIght now, we qualify five teams for nationals, plus the highest finishing non qualified team. I am going to check to see if we qualify top small school as well. See everyone Saturday, tournament will start in the usual building.

Will those top afternoon pools be balanced by PPB or PPG? Or just assigned randomly?Church51907 wrote: the top two in each pool being drawn into two groups

Afternoon pools will be by record. The combined group is goint to be the winners of three of the prelim groups and the runners up from three other ones. We will have a playoff in round 11 for 1st place, 3rd place, and top small school and qualifier if necessary.

Due to some field changes it will now be 4 groups of 7 in the morning and 7 groups of 4 in the afternoon. In the afternoon, there will be a grouping of the top 8 with two pool winners and two runners up, these pools will then play a round 11 play off.

For anyone analyzing these stats for rankings/thought, I was terribly sick (as anyone could see/hear at this tournament). I was 1/3 of our team, so I went, terrible headache, cough, and all. It turns out coughing means you mishear questions. (Who knew?)
