Good Databases/Software?
Good Databases/Software?
Howdy guys! So I'm a freshman at the moment and as a quiz bowl player, I'm trying to just get better and familiarize myself with high school topics. I'm focusing on mostly A sets, but I'm also trying some regular sets. Personally, I do prefer databases and online sites to study. My main two sources right now are protobowl and quizDB (if you know what those are). I'm trying to find other sources of studying online because I do know at some point I will ditch the two sites stated above, but I want to know if there are any other sites that are good for studying. If not, I'm always open to other studying techniques that are not via the internet :).

Seems like you're on the right track so far! Here are some other useful sites:
https://quizbowlpackets.com/ - lots of old question packets that you can read through
http://quizbug2.herokuapp.com/ - essentially a better, single-player version of Protobowl; more customizable and has a larger and more up-to-date question bank
http://scop-qb.org/study-sheets/ - a bunch of assorted study guides, good way to familiarize yourself with the basics of each category

If you have a Samsung or certain other Android devices, you can download the QuizDroid mobile app on Google Play. There is a similar app for iOS called QuizDB.
