I was looking at a previous post about the category distribution for NAQT hsquizbowl. This is what the post had:
Literature / Mythology 18.5%
Science 18.5%
History 18.5%
Current Events 7.5%
Popular Culture 7.5%
Geography 7.0%
Fine Arts 7.0%
General Knowledge / Mixed 5.5%
Sports 4.0%
Social Science 3.5%
Philosophy 2.0%
Foreign Language 0.5%
I am confused on why religion is not included in this. Also, is this information still accurate as the post was a little old? Finally, why are literature and mythology grouped together? Thanks!

Re: NAQT Category/Subject Distribution
NAQT's current high school distribution can be seen on this page (which has much additional detail, including numbers for the split among mythology/religious literature/non-religious literature). Note that questions classified as "religion" in some non-NAQT distributions may appear as "religious literature," "religious history," or "theology" under NAQT's distributions.

This information is out of date. You can find the current subject distribution for Invitational Series sets here: https://www.naqt.com/hs/distribution.jsp.

Re: NAQT Category/Subject Distribution
The "per packet set" is probably the easiest column to start with. A typical recent NAQT Invitational Series set has a total of 288 tossups and 288 bonuses. That column tells you that of those 288/288 questions, you can expect 15 tossups and 15 bonuses to fall under the general category of "British Literature."
