University of Louisville Academic Challenge 10-17-15

Post by Church51907 » Wed Aug 26, 2015 3:44 pm

Hope everyone is well. The 9th annual University of Louisville Arts & Sciences Academic Challenge will take place on October 17th, 2015 . We are using NAQT IS-149A and are looking forward to a great tournament. The format will be traditional NAQT with powers and teams will be guaranteed 8 rounds. The entry fee will be $60 with the standard discounts of $10 for working buzzers and moderators. The tournament will take place in the Humanities Building and we will meet in Humanities 100. We will do 5 preliminary rounds before lunch and after lunch, teams will be rebracketed into groups based on morning performance.

I am attaching a registration form to this note. If you are interested in participating in the tournament, please reply to this note with your school and the numbers of teams you wish to bring. Right now, we have a soft cap of 24 and are giving priority to A & B teams. We can put C, D, & E teams on the wait list and as the tournament nears, they may be added to the field. Also, with payment, it can be sent in closer to the tournament, I would like to have all payments in by October 1st. As the tournament nears, we will send out an additional form asking for players names, so we can pre-program our files for stats. Hope to see everyone in October and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
To register, please write me at [email protected] , do not reply to this thread

If you don't want to be regarded as a "raving lunatic," it might be advisable to rave less, or at least to do so in a less loony manner.
