Cistercian had a 3-man team and was missing a few players at that tournament

Re: On-going season rankings

Just having some fun, FRED! I am sure you look at other factors as well, but since you say you do, here is what I look at in order of importance---do you look at these as well?: FIRST, I like wins & losses ( these tend to be decisive) ; and, more precisely, I look at these within a play...

In addition, Cistercian won the TQBA Spartan Showdow...

Re: Texas 2010 - 2011

If you any advice on starting up a team or any suggestions at all in general, please let me know. I am very happy that I found this message board. Lastly, do any of you know any other schools in San Antonio that boast a Quiz Bowl team? While not in the San Antonio area proper, there are a few teams...

Yet more evidence for Cistercian's potential this year: It was co-champion (with Seven Lakes) of the TQBA Quad States Challenged, played on HSAPQ questions in Plano on October 16.

Re: Texas 2010 - 2011

I really think Cistercian will be good this year, especially given the results of the last two tournaments. Albeit, the first tournament was played against a weak field in Oklahoma (without the two Edmond schools), but the second tournament saw two very undermanned CPS teams qualify for HSNCT agains...
