What is this Tidy Whitey Bowl, and what can you tell me about it, lol? I asked Aren, who was a hs freshman nearby, and obviously he had no clue. We read a packet yesterday for historical purposes, and it was either the biggest waste of time, or 20 minutes of awesomeness, not quite sure.

Purdue wasn't there either. Also, I suck and need to get better and buzz in more. The fact that there were powers surprised me a bit too, since I could have powered the first tossup I played and I didn't since I thought everything was worth only 10 points. It was really cool to have every active Big Ten school at this tournament (well, if you don't count Penn State and Iowa, but that's pretty debatable). Indiana has a team. Re: Early Fall Tournament at VCU (10/3)

See I believe this has the opposite effect: a team of novices coming off a 500 point beatdown looks at the stats and sees that team is the number 5 team in the country, and realizes that they lost because they were playing one of the very best teams in all of quizbowl. I would feel better if I got ...

Man, if I'd known grad students were allowed to play, I would've come to this tournament. ACF Fall: 237.5 PPG, 16.41 PPB
