Ok so we are now at 32 teams, and thanks to Richard Yu procuring us an extra room this means we can have all the game rooms in Eads Hall instead of splitting it over two buildings as in previous years! I will be sending coaches a note shortly.

Richard will post stats soon but 16 teams played with Illinois having to win two games in an advantaged final over Northwestern (winning the first in a tie break). Both teams were ug eligible. Chicago beat Illinois B for the D II title. Great job to all who played!

That absolutely defeats the purpose of having a pool in the first place. A team that would normally be fourth could have missed the three statistically best teams and still be undefeated. In this event I would have sacrificed your house team and ran a full round robin.
