Last year we had similar problems but ended up with 16 teams; it's just not the best date to host it, which is why we tried to move it to Oct., but we didn't get much interest for that tournament until after we announced we would cancel it. Any update on whether or not the mirror at UTK will work out? All the current sites are about equidistantly 5-6 hours away from us, but Knoxville's an hour or so closer and we've never been to a tournament there before.

Hmm it's 4.5 hours to Tallahassee (no packet submission) or 2 hours to Columbia (packet required) on the same date. We'll see who on our team wants to write and get back to y'all with exactly how many teams we might send, but we're definitely interested.
