We're dropping the house team with the understanding that the field is going to be large enough that we won't need to throw anybody out there. If we end up on 5 teams or some other unfortunate number, they may get added again.

Right now we have 12 teams. We'll do two prelim pools of 6, and then after lunch we'll re-bracket into two playoff pools of 6 although we'll be carrying over two games from the morning. After Round 8 we'll have an award ceremony and play a final if necessary.

For some reason, I doubt that Yale hosting a tournament 150 miles away is a major reason why Princeton had 14 less teams at their tournament than in 1997.
