Re: VCU Open discussion
Charlie's got a good point about the opera/operetta answer line versus symphonies answer line. I liked seeing Sousa come up, just like it's fun when Joplin comes up in a okay-he-has-stuff-other-than-rags sense, and I thought that if the answer line had just been Sousa with clues almost solely based ...

First, there was very justified misunderstanding about the number of rounds. I believe the original post stated a goal of twelve rounds, and though I don't recall when it was altered to state a goal of fifteen rounds, the goal was always twelve rounds, and until I read this thread, I thought that w...

Re: VCU Open discussion
This tournament was ok. I didn't find anything to be excited about in this set. As usual, there were some incredibly dubious answer choices, including a whole bunch of things that were either incredibly obvious from the start or were unanswerable by anyone until the end. The bonuses were pretty var...

This is my main problem with listing notes either by pitch or by rhythmic value. For most people, even those who read music fluently, parsing a list of notes will take time during which other clues are flying by.Crazy Andy Watkins wrote: easier to process at game speed
