I wish NAQT wouldn't claim the field is "full," when in fact their list just includes teams that have qualified, and you can't expect every qualifier to register. Yeah I thought Trinity would do a little better, I thought TJ would do a little better too but that was a guessing game since I knew they'd be weaker just didn't know how much weaker (I was about right in my estimations of TJ A but I expected TJ B to at least come close to making the main playoffs)....

UC lobby between 8:30-9:00. I'm going to send out an email to all volunteers (and one to all teams) soon. I'm holding back because I'm waiting on the assistant TD to confirm what our food situation will be. In all likelihood volunteers will be able to eat both breakfast and lunch for free.

By the way this only makes a difference in stats maybe, but the Mathews-Radford game was not technically decided by OT. It was decided by a replacement question (replacing tossup 4) at the end of the match, so only 50 questions were read.
