Well I guess 26/26 would work okay; packet eveness is a just cause. In order to save time and keep moderators from having to go off and find another round, you could always leave ties unbroken, at least in the initial RR.

LOL on facebook when I look at where I stack up against my friends (14th out of about 110), Brendan Byrne is in first with 148 points, but the funny part was he had every single top seed win every time. Well it didn't take much thinking, but congrats Brendan.

It's pretty amazing in this episode how none of them got the USS Missouri when it mentioned a Japanese guy standing on it in 1945 (and they all were on the right track with naming US ships). Ahh well, perhaps I'm biased since my dad never let me forget my great uncle was on the deck that day.

Well, part of the reason the rounds end up imbalanced is that only 20 tossups are read at a lot of tournaments for time's sake. A lot of the fine arts may have ended up in the final 4 tossups at Ebirt for example. It's just a luck of the questions. You could have a geography buff and have all three...

I'm wondering now NAQT is going to deal with having so many teams and a limited amount of time and packets. I'd hate to see a tournament with so many good teams turn into a crapshoot where the teams who don't finish in the top few spots are all lumped together in a final "tied for (whatever) place"...
