Actually, Mr. Kilner, it was the promise of two-hundred dollars from my school for participating in something that ended up being a try-out for the school team that represented K at College Bowl. Like I told you Steven, stage a coup, and the quizbowl cabal here in NE Ohio (myself, Bossick, Sharp, Bindis, Saxton, etc) will help you run Great Lakes, even if we have to go to NAQT for the question set in the event the team doesn't write their own or mirror another tournament.

Yeah, I wrote the question though... and didn't even think about it when I did... although Ohio worksheet rounds tend to do alot of similar terms with "DO NOT ACCEPT _____" for whatever the other term may be. Ohio's team does not get picked until after the state tournament on May 3. Last year, Garfield Heights won, but chose to take only our three main players and three of the other best players in the state. We're the only team in the state that would take other players though, so if we don't win states...

Any Ohio teams would be out, February 23 is the Copley Invitational, the biggest tournament in Ohio... and the last 4 state champs have won this tournament, so I doubt anyone wants to miss (even though I hate OAC)

They're kind of a mystery team because even though they return Doug, and load up their A team from their not-so-terrible B team from last year, who knows how they will gel. I would expect an above-average team, but only Joe knows whether they will compete on a larger stage and be successful.
