Will D2 questions be used again in high school sets? If so high schoolers can't be at the tournament (or would have to help out in D1 only). I can't remember if questions were shared between SCT and high school sets happened last year, but I know that it happens every year with the ICT D2 questions...

I believe UWO hosted the regional tournaments of Reach for the Top a couple of years, but not quizbowl.

Anyway, the top three teams were all interested in exploring the format further. They would gladly go to (NAQT) Nationals if funding was not so much of an issue.

Since division 2 has been mentioned: I think Alfred got burned out of a D2 bid because of the format of the Canadian SCT. Their 6 losses came to D1 teams and the one D2 team that finished ahead of them. They did great in the full round-robin, but were then squashed by a top 4 bracket with D1 teams.....

My easy prediction: no Canadian teams will win titles ;) But don't write off Toronto (D1), McGill (D2) or Ottawa (D2) (or our west coast teams if they decide to make the trip). Give us a good run of non-American questions, and we'll pull the upsets. Heck, we might even get out of the bottom bracket....
