Donald--a noble undertaking, and more power to you, but are you aware of the amount of work Mr. Reinstein does to set up the ScoBowl Solo? I'd talk with him before undertaking so mammoth a project.

Nick: If you want the field to include out-of-state teams, try Iowa (Bettendorf), Michigan (Okemos, Eisenhower, White Cloud, DCD, DCC), Indiana (Culver), and Kentucky (Manual, Central Hardin). They will all provide good competition.

Yes, the top four finishers at Carmel will definitely be forces to be reckoned with when they reach varsity play. Re math questions: You ain't seen nothin' yet. At Panasonic itself, it is not uncommon to have several math questions in a row. Which if you're a team compoised almost exclusively of math geeks (as was a certain Pennsylvania team several years ago) the score can easily get skewed in your direction. ...

Ultima update: MacArthur has declined; St. Ignatius has accepted in their place. Bloomington is on hold and I have not heard from Fenwick. The others have all confirmed.

I second Mr. Reinstein's comment re ASCN. We have been invited in the past, and I've given the same reason. The argument is that in addition to the dorms, it includes events like Cubs games, Art Institute, etc. . . .my guys do tha anyway!
