Given your location, I would also invite Kentucky and especially North Carolina teams. A few Kentucky teams travel, and North Carolina seems to be looking for new opportunities to play.

"Wicked" isn't considered trash by many in the stage business, and the musical demands of Candide make it out of the running for many repertory companies as it's closer to opera in scope and scale.

Having said that, I don't see anything wrong with the aforementioned language arts category. Why not?

A few years ago, there were several teams in the Bortscht Belt (Ulster-Delaware-Sullivan) who might be interested, but I have no idea how to contact them....you might check with individual schools; one of them was in Kingston, I believe.

You misinterpet me my south side Herr--

I meant that the cluck-clucking would come form Illinois coaches, many of whom have had a prejudice against two or more teams unless it is the host team filling in for an emergency.

Just an fyi--

Illinois tournaments are pretty much set a year or so in advance. We begin working on our calendar for the next year at the end of the previous year's season and are usually finished by mid-May; excepting some tournaments hosted by colleges and universities.
