Re: 2015 NAQT MSNCT: May 9-10, Dallas

#3, although they have a very good shot at winning. It's hard to argue with the sheer numbers being put up by Kealing and Harmony. If anything Middlesex should have a better chance next year because they have so much depth while returning their top two players.

NAQT Proofreading

I was reading at a tournament using NAQT's MS-13 earlier today, and I noticed several (at least five, perhaps as much as 10+, either way it was incredibly noticeable to me and a teammate of mine who was also reading) typos, grammatical errors, and instances where entire words such as "that, of, this...

Re: 2015 NAQT MSNCT: May 9-10, Dallas

They "split the squad", essentially, so you're not going to see absolutely incredible numbers from one team. One thing that's often overlooked its the depth that Middlesex has. Although no team averaged more than maybe 25 points per bonus, all 3 of them should be fairly close to that. After all, the...

Re: St. Joe's 5th Annual GSAC, December 20, 2014

About two years ago, I advocated that we might be better served having some sets run on both sides of the Hudson, allowing for two ~24-team tournaments rather than a 36-team tournament that stretches resources thin and leaves some teams on a waitlist. I think that's only happened with A-sets to dat...

I think that the initial two team limit for registration helps alleviate the problem Jon points out and also helps get more teams involved.
